Within the walls of an artistic laboratory, where brushes and colors dance in a timeless ballet, I found my most precious inheritance: the passion for painting, a gift handed down from the heart and hands of my father, Paolo Canciani, the painter of water.
As I grew up, his paintings, which captured the vibrant essence of Venice, transformed the workshop into a portal to worlds of shimmering waters and vast, unchanging skies.
Paolo, known as the 'water painter', shaped not only canvases but also the course of my life with his brushes. His works, which tell stories of places and moments, taught me to see beyond the surface, to grasp the soul of every landscape.
His ability to paint water with a realism that bordered on miracle was his signature, a mark of mastery that left an indelible mark on the art world.
Every time I pass by his creations, I remember the Drappo di Feltre, competition won by my father in 2011, a moment of triumph and recognition for his extraordinary talent.

These memories are a constant source of inspiration for me, a guiding light in my personal artistic journey.
Today, with brushes in hand, I feel the weight and warmth of this legacy. Every stroke I place on the canvas is a silent dialogue with him, a way to honor his memory and continue his legacy.
I thank my father every day for this immense gift. The passion for art that he passed on to me is a fire that burns within me, a promise to continue to explore, create and dream, in the hope of living up to his legendary skill.
